Passport tips so you're ready when it's time.
Our first travel experience launches at the end of this year and carries into the new year. That means now is the perfect time to make sure your passport is current, renewed, and ready to go. Here's what to check:
Check your expiration date now
Many countries require your passport to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. Don't wait — check today.
Make sure you have blank pages
Some destinations require 1–2 blank pages for entry stamps. If your passport is full, it's time to renew.
Renew early — processing takes time
Standard passport renewal takes 6–8 weeks. Expedited service is 2–3 weeks. Start now so you're ready by year's end.
First-time passport? Start today
If you've never had a passport, you'll need to apply in person at an acceptance facility. Gather your documents: proof of citizenship, photo ID, passport photo, and fees.
Keep a copy of everything
Take a photo of your passport info page and store it in your phone and email. If anything happens while traveling, you'll have a backup.
Check destination entry requirements
Some countries require visas in addition to a passport. We'll help guide you through requirements for each ME After 50 destination.
